Boasting over 20 years of experience in the events industry, SWW has the in-house expertise and capabilities to manage events from the initial planning stages right through to the delivery of a successful event that achieves all the partners’ key objectives.

As well as providing all operations and logistics expertise, SWW has a dedicated marketing services team in place to manage all commercial aspects of the event.

Marketing Services

SWW’s experienced marketing services team has the in-house expertise to work alongside event partners, various agencies and stakeholders to develop integrated marketing strategies designed to achieve all commercial objectives.

The team has led successful marketing campaigns for a range of events in Asia Pacific, across both online and offline channels, to drive strong awareness and participation numbers.

SWW’s in-house design team provides expertise to manage all event-related design elements including (but not limited to) the development of the overall creative concepts, logo production, branding, website design/development and the design and production of all marketing collaterals.

The graphic elements are tailored to match the event partner’s requirements and produced for both online and offline channels.

The dedicated P&P team manages the programming and protocol elements, providing a touch of fun and sophistication to all successful events.

This includes the selection of entertainment and sideline activities for both participants and spectators to enjoy during the events, as well as the management and deployment of all performances, emcees and sound systems.

The team also manages all protocol procedures throughout the build-up and during the events; such as VIP/Guest of Honour invites and administration programmes, prize presentation schedules, flag-off procedures and all other matters pertaining to official proceedings.

The SWW in-house PR team has a proven track record in planning and executing successful PR plans for sporting events in Asia Pacific.

Unique and customised PR strategies are developed to promote the events and communicate the partners’ key messages to the masses through its strong relationships across top tier print, online and broadcast media in the region.

Cycle Malaysia 2013

The inaugural edition of Cycle Malaysia in 2011 attracted 3,500 participants to cycle at Dataran Merdeka.

Following research findings taken from the post-event participant survey, as well as analysis of the 2011 marketing and PR plans, a new strategy was developed to grow specific participant groups and significantly raise the number of spectators to the three-day event.

Through a focus on social media and creating various marketing touch points throughout the campaign, a 30% increase in participant numbers was achieved for Cycle Malaysia 2013 with over 5,000 cyclists lining up for the various ride categories.

The strategic PR plan, which ran from the media launch up until the conclusion of event weekend, generated over MYR 5,200,000 in PR value.

Event Operations

SWW provides a turnkey, end-to-end delivery of events with a highly experienced team on hand to create operational efficiency and synergies across venue management, route management and support services.

SWW has a designated team to lead all logistics planning and management; including all pre- and during event beverage and food requirements, aid station logistics calculation and requisition, event logistics consolidation and procurement, as well as management of suppliers and service providers.

SWW also acts as the operation interface for all commercial activations such as branding, corporate hospitality, sponsorship activations, sports expo and client servicing.

The team manages all site planning and management, leading key areas such as site security, the venue command centre, post-event amenities and athlete welfare areas.

With over 20 years of experience managing route operations for large scale events across Asia Pacific, this area is one of SWW’s core strengths.

Working alongside the relevant Government agencies and authorities, SWW’s expert route operations team manages the entire route design, road closures and traffic management plans pre- and during event.
The team also offers a full suite of key stakeholder management skills; right from the initial engagement, buy-in and education through personal contact, collaterals and flyers to creating customised route diversion plans.

A key element to route operations is management of race vehicles (if required) for which SWW manages all deployment/movement plans and trains/deploys drivers.

The team also trains route volunteers while a dedicated team of experienced course security members are deployed to assist with road closures.

A dedicated Support Services team is focused on creating the best participant experience possible for our participants.

As well as the overall management of participant registration and the payment gateway, the team manages all aspects of the participants’ entitlements including (but not limited to): event apparel, race packs, bibs, e-certificates and timing results.

Management of volunteers is also crucial to the success of any event and SWW boasts a proven track record for volunteer recruitment, training and deployment.

SWW’s long-term recruitment programmes increase retention rates while also instilling a sense of ownership and belonging.

Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore

The event operations team at SWW has grown the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore into a world-class sporting event which continues to attract a record number of participants year on year.

The team led the successful transition of the event concept from one common start/finish line to the new three start points and one finish point in 2010.

After consistently delivering successful operations for the event, SWW was appointed the master tender for full event operations, which oversaw all planning and execution of the mass participation running event for over 60,000 runners.

SWW also manages the Marathon’s large volunteer program of 7,000 individuals; leading all recruitment, training and deployment.

Norton joined Cycle Singapore 2013 as the event’s “Official Security Technology Partner” and “Bike Park Sponsor”.
Its basic benefits included the inclusion of the brand’s logo on the event website, Facebook page, flyers, posters, street banners, cycle packs, event jerseys etc.

Norton also ran a tailored activation with Volvo and uvex, designing a ‘Guess the number of Helmets’ contest which garnered much interest on-site and up to 3,000 contest entries.

The Cycle Singapore 2013 bike park was also branded entirely by Norton throughout the three-day event.
As a result of its event partnership, Norton was able to reinforce its key message of ‘protecting people and their information’, increase brand exposure and its customer database.
